iDART Technology

iDART is developed using the Java programming language which enables iDART to run on different operating systems. This is a benefit since it gives greater flexibility in deploying the application.

Currently iDART has been tested on Windows and Ubuntu which is a Linux operating system. iDART uses a database to store its data in which is installed as a separate piece of software.

The current database that iDART uses is called PostgreSQL and is open source (which, among other things, means there are no licence fees for using it).
